Topic: Camera Rigs? [Help!]

Ok guys, I have a problem. I can not create an efficient and simple camera rig design. Here is my current one that I just made and haven't used yet.

It's big and clunky, it elevates the camera a bit too much and it's a pain to take the camera out if needed. mini/sad   If you have a design that can help with this problem please post it. (LDD files and Images)
It doesn't even have to be a full design, just tips to help out.
Thanks. mini/smile

Re: Camera Rigs? [Help!]

Why not simply use the thinner pieces on the bottom instead of the bigger red 2x4?

Re: Camera Rigs? [Help!]

If you have the pieces, Zachfb's rig is pretty nice...just take off the bottom part.

Or, here's a really basic one:

The red bricks aren't even touching the ground, if you looked at the first picture, they are there just to support the underneath of the camera.

Re: Camera Rigs? [Help!]

Lavamation, you have made very interesting rig. You used many different bricks! But hey just recommendation: Try your own rig before the basic one.

I think he means that if you want the camera to be closer to the baseplate, use plates instead of bricks for the bottom pieces.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.
