CONS: you are a partner with Google.
I don't see that as a con. Why do you?
Not a YouTube partner myself. But, I do know that you get that nice, handsome banner at the top of your channel. Or used to, anyways. Now that YouTube's outta control, you can't get many partner features anymore.
And all the remaining features are no longer partner exclusives, rendering the program virtually worthless.
