Re: Café Corner

Looks cool, LFB! (Though I'm only going by the translation, so I'm not sure of what I'm reading is actually what it says)

Speaking of Brick film festivals, anyone else planning on attending Brickflix? I already know a few others who are, but I'm wondering if anyone else plans to as well. I've also seen on their website they're looking for brickfilmers who submitted films that want to be in the Q&A component, so that looks cool as well.

Are you going!?

I'm planning on going.  I just hope that nothing bad happens to stop me. I'm still going through a rather long move, and I'm sick right now.  I've been sick for 39 days in a row before, so it's not outside the realm of possibility for me to still be sick then.

Re: Café Corner

I've been planning on going for a while now. I hope you feel better in time, cause it looks like it is going to be awesome! You should be in the Q&A if you go. You'd probably get a lot of interesting questions, I'd imagine.

And after the event is over, I'm thinking about visiting this internet famous bridge which happens to be right around the corner from the theater.

Re: Café Corner

I plan to be there and really hope it works out. I'd love to meet some of you guys in person and watch brickfilms in a theater setting.

Re: Café Corner

I would go if there wasn't a giant ocean separating myself from all you lovely people.

I wonder if maybe next year it would be possible for me to submit something though...

Also, if Brandon Fields (the voice of Johnny Strange in Holding Our Own) looks like his avatar, he really resembles Mark Hamill

Re: Café Corner

i gotta make something to show off to my classmates on the first day.

not sure what i'm gonna do yet, but i do have a month and 10 days to do this so i've got time

probably going to make a weird hybrid thing of both hand-drawn animation and stop motion? i dunno

oh and i found out that this year one of the possible mentors the animation division (mine) will possibly have is Alex Hirsch who created Gravity Falls so if that happens that'll be the bees knees

I think that's John Cleese.  I'm not really sure where the picture originates though.

For a recent comedy play, I acted out one of the characters he played in a Monty Python skit.  It was loads of fun.

Jokes aside, I'm really happy that you may see Hirsch and are going to get some sort of artistic education.

And I've been really enjoying your recent artworks on your Tumblr.

These jokes are offensive, my avatar actually is a picture is of me, a computer using, cynical and somewhat grumpy carousel.

It's hard animating when you have no fingers - only hooves. mini/sad

I've met Brandon several times.  He doesn't look like him at all.
Though, I doubt I'll ever meet another individual with such a strong liking for Star Wars.
The Force is strong with him.

Re: Café Corner

I never met Mr. Fields, but I watched his Winter Wonderland video (his audition for Holding Our Own) and a few of his nostalgic cartoon videos, and I know he doesn't look that much like Mark Hamill.

I'm also a big SW fan, since Star Wars (IV) is the first movie I saw in a theater.  I won a radio contest about Star Wars back in 2005.  Before they asked any questions on of the cohosts said I should get the prize just because I named the blue senator (not Vice Chancellor Mas Ameda) who bumped into Jar Jar Binks at the beginning of episode 3.

Re: Café Corner

Hey guys, I need some help. I saw this trailer for the new Smash Bros and my brains are now splattered all over the carpet from sheer mind-blowing. What stain remover do you recommend I use?

There's not much you can really do to clean it.  Blood is hard to get out of stuff.  I'd suggest taking this opportunity to just get rid of your carpet and replace your flooring with something easier to clean in the future, like wood.
I hate carpets.  They get so much nasty stuff in them.

On the game itself, it makes me rather sad that I really like Nintendo games but I've always been a PC gamer.
