I like it. Obviously it was a little vague on pretty much everything, but the acting was really nice and I'm interested to see more as it comes.
Wow, very good poster!
Well done ![]()
That was quite interesting. In your other films I felt acting wasn't convincing, but here it looks completely different, deeper (I'm limited by my lack of knowledge of the English terminology, can't quite find the right word to describe it).
I'll definitely check it out when it comes out, if I can.

I am definitely optimistic that the quality of the acting in this film will be better than my live action efforts so far, although I am very pleased with the performances in the as-of-yet unreleased My Father is a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Matador was my first serious attempt at live action, and the only other live action videos I have online were very quickly put together school assignments. I think I've improved at directing actors, and it doesn't hurt that the main character in this film is being played by a very talented professional actor.
We're going to be launching a Kickstarter campaign for this film next month. There will also be an online treasure-hunting game (with real prizes)!
The first screenshot reminds me of Krull.
Principal photography begins in a couple of days! We've filmed two small portions of the film in advance, including some nature footage of Caddo Lake.
If you'd like to pre-order a special copy of the film, you may do so at our website! You can also get other items such as art prints and posters with your DVD or Blu-Ray.
Here are a few stills from what we've shot so far for the film.

Beautiful scenery m8 but you must have some sort of death wish, filming outdoors in the Texas summer. (I still want to go there and stalk you though heheheheheh)

Indeed. I am optimistic that whatever struggles await during production can not live up to the amount of blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into the past 8 (!) months of pre-production. I'll soon find out.
We finished principal photography. A pretty crazy, intense experience, it was 23 days of nonstop filming. Late into production, the lead actor smacked his head into a door (not during filming) and got a bad gash, so we have to shoot with him for one more day in October, but the bulk of the film is shot.
You can still pre-order the film on our website in order to see it, like, a year before it becomes publicly available! There are art prints and other cool things involved.

Where was the bottom shot filmed?
