Excellent film, I enjoyed it a lot! The animation was really fabulous, and the cinematography is amazing. The voice acting was also very good. The story was great, and the score was excellent too, especially in the ending scene. I can't wait to see more!

Ooooooooooooooh it's out!
I've been looking forward to this film for a while! Everything about it looks really amazing. I don't have time to watch it right now but tomorrow I have a ten hour bus ride so I will watch it then and tell you what I think of it. Congratulations on finishing such an ambitious project though!
The design of everything looked really, really cool and interesting. Though, the animation wasn't really particularly good or anything for the most part. But I'm sure it's really difficult to animate a 2D film yourself so it's understandable.
The part with the song playing with the sirens was excellently creepy.
I've only gotten to see a little bit, but it's pleasantly animated!
I been waiting for this since you posted frames a while ago. It was very good as expected; I love the unique art style, I've never seen that used in an animation before, and the story was good, and although the pacing felt a bit rushed at the end, it didn't detract much from the film, and I'm sure you were limited on time. The voice acting is also great, and overall it's a very impressive accomplishment. ![]()
I loved the photography. It looked great, gorgeous. The backgrounds, sound design and music were splendid as well (except the outside world, looked rushed in comparison with the interiors at the beginning). I loved the overall mood and atmosphere throughout the film.
Animation, though, looked odd in some parts. Sometimes it felt even wrong, like the walk cycle at the beginning: one leg moved faster than the other. Sometimes they moved too slowly, and the interaction with the background looked weird, since the character didn't blend too well, imo. Character design was strange too (4:53, for example, the guy sitting on the table, his legs look way too long), and it looked like you spent more time in the background than with them.
The story, I felt, could have been developed in a more interesting way. The concept was good (Plato's cave is always a good start), but I was a little disappointed by the development.
The voice acting was great.
So, yeah, it was good overall, a nice short, but not great as it could have been.
I hope you don't mind me bumping this topic but i'd like to congratulate you on making such an amazing film. I just watched it, and I really liked it a lot. The art was beautiful and the story was very touching. I feel like you executed it in a superb way too. I do think the dialogue was pretty awkward at times, as well as the movements of the characters. But other than that it was just amazing.
I have a few questions: What do the red and blue uniforms mean? Because in the film the red people and green people ate lunch separately and stuff... you might have explained this and I missed it idk. Also what made Mr. Norwood change his mind?
