Topic: New "Holding Our Own" spinoff featuring Brent Schneider

Before I begin filming HOO episode 3, I'm building models for new scenes.  I also wish to take a few weeks to
finish my band's newest album, which has taken a back seat in the past year because of the animation.  But, in
the meantime, I've decided that, since there is a great amount of time between HOO episodes, I'd like to make a
spin-off featuring Brent Schneider's comments and opinions.  The series utilizes controlled animation, so that
much of the primary footage can be reused from one episode to the next.  The setting is the in the year 2013, four
years in the future from the original series.  Episodes are in a very different context and will be much shorter.
Plus, breaking an official HOO purist rule, it will even mix in live-action footage, but these episodes are
considered part of the original continuity.  I'm in pre-production, compiling the live action footage, but
animation will begin shortly.  The first episode should be posted in a few weeks.

HOOOOOOOOOO

This sounds great. So what exactly does controlled animation mean? It's cool that you're starting to stray from the purist motto and maybe you will find that you will like the options a lot better if you don't limit yourself.

Controlled animation is a Hanna-Barbera technique of making limited cycles or sequences that can be reused to produce numerous weekly series efficiently.
