Topic: Finding Voice Acting Talents

Hello everybody! Does anyone here have some suggestions/recommendations for how I can go about finding good voice actors for my brickfilms? Many times I ask people (or they volunteer) to do a character in a film of mine, and after a few weeks they bail out on me. mini/sad

What tips can you give as to how I can find competent people? I really do not enjoy putting a big project on hold for someone only to find out they won't follow through. mini/tongue

In the voice acting forums right here on BiM there is a sticky thread called "The Brickfilm Casting Agency" which, people can apply to. They list what they will/will not do, and I'm sure they won't bail out after just a week or two. I'd suggest looking at that first.

However, off the top of my head, whom I've worked with (and know do good voicing) is:

As far as I know, all three of us won't curse, and (having failed at several projects of our own) won't be mad if your movie doesn't really get out of pre-production.

Also, it's good to watch brickfilms listed on here to leek at whom has done voices before, as well as how recently/frequently they act. mini/smile

Also, when looking for female voices, go to youtube, and explore the world of SIms 3 voiceover series.  Use those keywords and "audition" or "my audition" and you'll find a variety of them.  That's where I found the voice of Carleigh in my series.

You should also put before u do casting calls or ask people is. Will you be able to stay on, or will you drop out?
