Topic: A Strange Game: Previsualisation

Recently I had to create a previsualisation (basically an animated storyboard) using Maya for an assignment. I took the opportunity to push ahead a bit with "A Strange Game". Considering all that was required was untextured shapes and default lighting, I kind of maybe took it a couple of steps further.

I ended up creating this in approximately 24 hours total. Bear in mind the rudimentary animation is such because that's all this is - it's purpose is to block out animation and plan, not to be a final piece. Same goes for the lighting, sets and props, etc.

For those interested, here is the animatic I did first to plan out shots, created from my rough storyboards.

Where did their faces go? And it interesting, I wanted to see more. Good job.

Re: A Strange Game: Previsualisation

Faces weren't required for the previs. Had I another half a day or so I would have animated and added them, but it did its job nonetheless mini/smile
