Can anyone tell me how to convert an MP4 to an AVI?
I'm using stop motion pro, I'm recreating an Iron Man 3 tv spot and so am importing the video file to know when each shot ends and begins and also for reference to increase the animation's likeness to the trailer. I cannot import any video file except for AVI ![]()
Haha, no, I need to import the AVI into my stop motion software, not my editing software.
Haha, no, but you can import it (MP4 version) into the video software, export a copy as .Avi, and then bring the .Avi version into the animation software. Then, you have a .Avi file to bring in, as well as still having the original file.
Hence the reason I asked about your editing software. ![]()
Oh, sorry for being stupid
I'm using windows movie maker. I don't think there's an option to export as an AVI ![]()
You can find programs online that convert video files, but you have to be careful to avoid viruses, unless you have a mac. Youtube downloader is a safe one that allows you to convert files.
