Topic: Does this look normal?

I'm really getting fed up with my c910. The quality seem's like it could be ton's better. Here's an image:
It looks great here, but when I export it, it looks awful. I export it in the highest resolution. (1920 x 1080. 16:9)
I will soon be getting the c920, but for now I'd like to use this. Any suggestions? Do I need more info?

Re: Does this look normal?

Obviously this is 640X480, and not the full 1080p, but it looks just fine to me.
What exactly looks bad? Because I can't find anything.

What are you exporting it out of? That program may be your problem.

P.S. After looking at one of your films, while the lighting could be bettered, the quality look just fine. I may very well be blind, but I'm not seeing a problem. Although, said film only went to 720p, and not the full 1080p.

Remember, this image is just an image. It wasn't exported yet with the whole clip. That's the thing. Whenever I export the clip from my frame capture program, it turns out worse than before. Also, I use SAM Animation. That good?

Re: Does this look normal?

Ugh, I used to use SAM animation but when I switched computers I also switched to Monkeyjam and it was then that I realized how bad SAM is. So seriously like just switch right now. Switch to anything but SAM and I think your problem will disappear.

Re: Does this look normal?

I use a program I got from some kit. It is basically MonkeyJam WITH onionskin... So, I can vouch for monkeyjam as well. Sometimes, you do need to change programs, even if you don't want to.

Re: Does this look normal?

I think my decision is clear. I'll have to switch programs. The thing is, I bought SAM Animation. Oh well.

EDIT: I can't find a good program for mac. Monkeyjam doesn't work, so. Any suggestions?

Re: Does this look normal?

Oh no, you ended up buying the full version? I only ever used the free one (because I could do all the features of the full with a real editing software... But then they put a time limit which is why I changed) so I have no idea if that is the problem now. I have no experience with the full SAM animation so it may not be the problem.
If you still want to change it, check out the free software thread. There are a ton of good options.
I was sad when I left SAM... It was a really great program performance-wise... It just really messed up the end product. All the other softwares I used aren't quite as easy, although they make better end results.
