Topic: Carleigh Radio Tuning CONTEST (open to all)- Holding Our Own Episode 2

Hey!
I just posted a video on Holding Our Own's youtube channel featuring a clip from episode 2, which is nearly complete.  In the clip, Melissa's friend, Carleigh, is tuning a radio.  While she tunes the radio, short clips of 8 songs can be heard.  To enter the contest, listen to the clip and try to identify as many songs as possible by the end of Easter Sunday, Estern Daylight Time.  Entries may be submitted to my email address, in the video.  The video can be seen at:

You don't have to guess all the songs to win.  The winner is the entrant with the most correct answers.  If there is a tie, threr will be two winners.  If more than two people tie, two winners will be selected randomly by a computer.  The winner will receive a copy of Holding Our Own: The Complete First Episode on DVD, which is chock full of extras not seen on Holding Our Own channel.

That's a great idea!! I tried to guess but I sort of failed. I only know one for sure and the other two were vague guesses. This is kind of hard.

CONTEST RESULTS

This was a very difficult contest, and as I expected, no one would get all 8 songs.  I counted the results.  The winner, with 3 correct guesses and 1 incorrect guess is Topitmonkeydog!  Congratulations on winning.  If you PM your shipping information, I'll have a Holding Our Own Episode 1 DVD shipped out to you.  I chocked the DVD with all kinds of extras whihc I'm sure you'll love.

Woah, cool!
Except actually I only got two right. I didn't recognize Always on my Mind until I watched the whole episode, which seems to have a longer clip of the audio. I didn't recognize it in the actual contest video, nor did I mention it in the email. I did go crazy for trying to recognize it though!! No idea if this would change the results at all...

Actually, you technically got 2 1/2 right.  I counted your acknowledgement of the Pet Shop Boys as 1/2.  It's all okay, because no one else got more than 1, which is fine, because this was a really really hard contest!

Oh, this doesn't count as part of the contest, but there was a fundraiser commercial audio near the beginning of the audio tapestry when Carleigh was tuning the radio.  That was a real community interest commercial for a local charity drive.  I taped something off the radio in 1989 and didn't edit the commercials!  You can hear the full commercial by visiting youtube.com/tinnitischannel.  It's the featured video as I type this so you don't have to click anything from there.
