Ooh that sounds cool
Reloading, mud, tightrope, in camera lasers I think might make decent ones, and they are new.

Smashing a window has been done.
Not smashing a window. Throwing something out of it, so the window is open.
ALRIGHT! THE CHALLENGE IS:
"Skydiving/falling from a Plane/Helicopter/Very high place"
Objective: Make a minifigure fall/jump from a high place or air vehicle.
Deadline: April 7th
If you wish to appease my morbid sense of humor, you may find yourself throwing in a destructive ending with a non-opening parachute.

This would be a perfect opportunity to film some key scenes from the Iron Man 3 and Avengers trailers...
I wish I could enter. Not much of a possibility for me though, some timing issues you see.

Errr... I've just made photos for movie with jump from building and I didn't either knew about topic of this animation mini-contest

No! You can do it manually by sticking your figure to your backdrop and moving him yourself every frame.
I never use visual effects in my videos as I feel they give an unnatural look (However, if done well it can look great!)
Please feel free to do it either way, I would like to see both!
