Hmm, I might be able to enter this after all, I might be able to get access to my studio after all. I've been itching to experiment around with replacement animation. Though yes, I will need a deadline extension... ![]()
Right now I'm hoping Squid doesn't remain undefeated (but that seems unlikely).

THINK AGAIN!
Here's mine:
Thanks for the entry PushOverProductions! ![]()
Now I'm sorry for making this snappy; but I will be going away tomorrow and won't be as active on the forums.
So I've decided not to offer an extension of the deadline and to just get on with the results.
PushOverProductions you are FIRST PLACE!
Really liked the story here
There were some bits where the animation was slightly choppy but overall, it looks like you put a lot of effort in to this. Great job. Congratulations!
In joint 2nd place are:
Squid and END Films!
@Squid:
I love your work and this in no exception! Very smooth animation and overall, really cool.
Congratulations!
@END Films:
More lovely smooth animation here. I especially liked the slopes.
Great job!
And in 3rd place are:
The Four Monkeys!
Loved the transactions between faces there. The animation was also extremely smooth and a pleasure to watch.
Thank-you all for entering and over to you PushOverProductions!
Congratulations on winning PushOverProductions!
Congrats PushOver! Lets decide the next challenge sooner than later so we can animate over the weekend ![]()
Didn't win. But I'm still really happy I tied for second (especially since squid had been previously undefeated)
Wow! Thanks so much! I feel like I just won an Oscar award or something. ![]()
Anyways, I am trying to think of a topic right now. How about "animating on clay"? I don't know if this one has been done, but a lot of people are starting to try it out. Good idea?
Yez, I like that idea ![]()

It's not really much of a challenge, though.
I suggest mud, or any type of goo like substance brick animated.
Wat about quick sand. but animating on clay sounds good to.

Oh, like animating those things using bricks? For example, the syrup explosion in this:

So the challenge is where Lego can be animated on other surfaces?
Ok, this is sort of confusing, SCRATCH THAT! Lets do this:
"Old Lego Horse gallop/Run"
Objective: Make an Lego horse (old version, found in sets up until the lord of the rings series) Run or gallop.
Challenge ends: April 5th
The reason for this challenge is because I find it very hard to animate Lego horses....and most other attempts I have seen are pretty bad. If there are any objects, speak now or forever hold your peace. ![]()

I just checked, horse walk has been done but not gallop.
Yah, that's kind of too close to the past challenge.
