What would this film The Call be about?
I'd like to know too. Is it about a telephone?
Please forgive the criticism. But when posting something that requests others' involvement, it is easier for a little clarity what you intend to make. Generic titles are popular, so with the only information that something is called "The Call", people can not infer what the story is about.
But if it is about a telephone, I'm on board with writing!

It's about an antique telephone that gets stolen by a thug named Uhg, who likes to mug!
Is this a comedy, drama, short, long, epic? Do you have an outline?
With out an outline. There could be many different stories that we could make.
Here is the outline: First the telephone rings. An old man answers it. He gets so scared by what is said on the phone that he gets a heart attack. Many years later, his great grandson lives in that house. The telephone is an antique by now and Uhg wants it. Uhg steals it in the middle of the night. He drives away with it, in a large truck. The great grandson's name is Tom. Tom has terrible feeling when he gets up in the morning. He remembered what his great grandfather had heard on the phone. Your days are numbered. It had been true for his great grandfather. Could it be true for him too? He once had heard of an ancient curse on that kind of telephone. He found out that his phone was gone. The ancient curse happened on whoever was holding the phone at the moment. It was Uhg. Uhg died and the truck crashed. After days of searching the phone is found and mailed back to Tom's house.
Of course it doesn't absolutely have to be feature length. It could a 30 to 45 minute short if you would prefer to write it that way. Any length works.
Interesting...
The Call
There's a new movie out called The Call, with Halle Berry. I haven't seen it, but anyways, you might not want to stir up any confusion over the title.
I might want to write your script. I've written a few of my own scripts before, so I've had some experience at writing scripts.

Okay, I'll change the name. How does The Telephone sound?
