I am starting to think about changing linkin' frames software. I have used PhotoScape, but I want to change it because it doesn't have as advanced options as I need. What's the best software? Gimp Animation Package, MonkeyJam or something else (on Windows)?
If I understand your question correctly, you want some software that can take a frame sequence and turn it into a video? If so, I've had good success with quite a lot of software. I say you're best bet (at least from my experience) would be Virtualdub. It is free, powerful, and not to difficult. I mean, it isn't a one click job, you are going to have to mess around with it and stuff, but if you don't mind doing that, it can work really well. I've also used Blender before. But it can be pretty tricky, and the only reason I use it is because I know it very well.
Thanks a lot, but that was not exactly what I meant. I thought about software for capturing frames into *.gif files and for editing speed of frames (for dialogues). For *.avi editing I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.
PS I used Blender few months ago, yeah it's pretty complicated

What camera are you using? Btw gif files aren't the best quality jpg, or png would be better
I am using a Sony electronic photocamera. And what about quality: *.jpg's have better quality, but it is single image, and *.gif's are images sequence.
