Topic: Adobe Creative Suite 6

Hey there,

I'm thinking about buying the Adobe Creative Suite 6, but it's not that cheap, and I don't know much about those programs. In the cs6 production premium there are:

* Premiere Pro CS6
* After Effects CS6
* Photoshop CS6 Extended
* Adobe Audition CS6
* SpeedGrade CS6
* Prelude CS6
* Illustrator CS6
* Encore CS6
* Flash Professional CS6
* Media Encoder CS6
* Story CS6
* Bridge CS6

I'm sure somebody here worked with one or more of those programs. My question is: Is it worth the money?

First of all WHICH Creative Suite are you planning on buying. Adobe has several of them: the Production Premium which is basically for video/photo media, do you want the Design suite which is for print, and there are several other suites.

It looks like you have the Production Premium suite listed there...I'm not quite sure.

And yes! All Adobe tools are worth it from my personal experience. Premiere pro, after effects, and Photoshop you probably will find most useful, that's not to say that the other tools are worthless though.

Another thing, all of these tools are very advanced, not necessarily complicated, but very advanced and you WILL need at least a little education. I found the best way to do this is use Adobe TV (tv.adobe.com/). The way I leaned the programs was simply to have them open and followed practiced using them as I watched the videos on Adobe TV.

Again, totally worth the money! I'm sure the other guys on here will say the same.
