First try with iStopMotion for iPad and remote camera funktion. Works pretty Smooth.
The animation is pretty good but it could use a little bit of work...
I'm just sitting here laughing at the mental image of somebody animating with an iPad though... That sounds worse than the people who videotape with them at concerts and stuff.. 
Thx, but this is really notning but a test, hence the quality of the animation. The app can use the iPad camera, but it is the remote camera function which is interesting - it gives you very mobile setup. I used ny iPhone 5 as camera and it linked via wifi to the iPad.
