Welcome to the official VABAC thread!

What is VABAC you ask? It stands for Vets And Beginners Animation Contest!


VABAC is a contest designed to get new people brickfilming. Each VABAC entry film is a joint entry by a brickfilmer ("Vet") and a non-brickfilmer ("Beginner").



VABAC Vocab: DOUBLE V!

Animation: "Stop Motion Animation"
Beginner: Someone who has never animated
LEGO: YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT!!!
Mod Element: Something that must appear in every shot
Vet: Someone who HAS brickfilmed before



Rules:

Only 2 persons per team (1 vet, 1 beginner)
Beginner MUST contribute 10%
Mod Elements MUST BE USED. They will be announced in the "VABAC STARTS NOW!" thread".
Oh yeah, it must be a brickfilm mini/wink

But why in the Site Feedback? It could be in the Bricks or something else.
Anyways, I believe it was decided that VABAC wasn't going to be started soon. Also, 10% is too little to animate. At LEAST make it 25%, although they're a Beginner, they still need to do some work.

I've moved this to "bricks" for the time being.  Until you have this contest fully worked out with timing, any prizes, and and members interested in participating, I don't know that it is suitable for the "Contests" forum.

Remeber the Prize has to be something such as 2 small sets not just 1.

2nd Place: $40 (2x $20)
3rd Place: $20 (2x $10)

So the beginner won't even have to animate? They can contribute the 10% in other ways? How would you know if they contributed then?

I think the beginner should work more. Maybe 50%? If the beginner is just sitting aside, will he/she think making films is fun and join this community?

2- $20 (2X $10)
3- $10 (2X $5)
