Topic: How can I solve a Silent Scene?

I have a few... Actually a lot of scenes where there are know recognized sound effects other than the voice overs... It sounds really awkward.. How can I make it less awkward, put in background sound (if so, what kind)  and is there anything I can do with the voice overs?

I would recommend adding music that matches to the tone of the scene. There are also people that make custom music for others.

Think about the setting so you can add foley sounds to make it more realistic. Like, in an engine control room there would be hydraulic stuff. In an office there would be the sounds of people stapling things and walking and stuff. Even if the scene just consists of a guy alone in a room, there would be some sort of air conditioning noises, or a washing machine. Compare it to similar scenes in live action movies, or better yet, real life situations.

Oh yeah and the music thing too. mini/smile

Ambient noise.  That's how.
