Topic: iStopMotion 3 and iPhone test
When I read that iStopmotion 3 could use iPhone as remote camera I was pretty exited - especially when I read that the program could control focus and exposure of the camera. I made a small test and heres the result:
1. Good thing: you can lock the exposure and white balance. This works pretty good.
2. Bad thing: allthough you can shift focus from the program (and it works) the way the iphone focus is apparently by zooming in and out untill it finds focus. This means that the picture will move if you shift focus in the same scene.

I don't know if there is a workaround, but I think the problem is due to the iPhone not the program.
