Re: BrickFilm Fights

I vote for Cooked Cat. Although it was hard to follow at times, it was well animated and had more "fight" in it. Though really, the direction is confusing, I had to watch it three times to understan what happened. Really liked the set, by the way. I'd say, work more on direction. Maybe show it to someone to see if they understand or make some storyboards.

Chiro's main problem was that it was just too fast: when I thought it was going to begin, it ends. The animation was fine at the beginning, but then it becomes slow (meaning that when a character turns or falls down, it doesn't do so in the appropriate speed, in this case, too slow). Also, sound effects: it could work with a soundtrack that fits, but yours wasn't enough... "action packed", I don't know if you understand what I mean. I thought photography looked fine (I liked the choice of a shallow focus). So, yeah, it's nice, but there's much to improve.

Hope it helped.

I vote for the kitty, kitty too. mini/tongue

Mostly for the same reasons as MPfist0, but I'd like to add some things to his reviews.

Cooked Cat, first, your animation skills have gotten MUCH better! I am very pleased to see how far you've come.
The main problems with this were the rapid changing of angles, and generally tight shots. Next time, back off a little with the camera, and let each clip roll for a little bit longer. In between the angle swaps, and not being able to figure out where the people due to the lack of overlap/establishing shots, it became really hard to follow. But as MP said, the set was great.

Chiro, the animation was not as good as Cooked Cat's, and to me the pacing was too slow at first, but then the fight ended before it really began. The set was also kinda plain to top things off.
