So here I am using my 64 bit Windows 7 laptop, when I decide to attempt to install Lightworks, as it is the only Windows machine I have which I will use until they release it for Mac 
And then this mysterious error code pops up. 
Normally I would google the problem, but I do not know a thing about computers, so I was wondering what in the world is an HASP and what should I do to install this program?

The HASP driver is the protection software that allows Lightworks to have a paid and free version. The driver differentiates between the free code (given out on registration) and the Pro code to enable different features that the versions support. These drivers are included in the Lightworks installer, so there is no need to download them separately.
