Topic: Composer Available | Custom Music

I am Sam Foster, a freelance film and video game composer seeking projects. I've scored a documentary and a regional Emmy Award winning television PSA campaign. I've also just finished scoring an unannounced commercial game under production in Rennes, France. I'm currently working on some unannounced mobile games. I score in all genres - solo piano, ethnic, jazz, electronic, orchestral, etc.

Are looking to do it for commissions, or just for the love of it?

Re: Composer Available | Custom Music

My Rates:

1.  Pay per track basis: $30 per completed, approved non-orchestral track (jazz, electronic, rock, light orchestration). And $50 per completed, approved heavy orchestral track (full orchestral, lots of instruments).  I've used this rate with many indie game devs.  So, you can pay one track at a time.

or

2. A one time, flat rate fee ranging from $200-$300 (depending on budget, level of orchestration, amount of music, etc.).  On most indie films, I've worked on a flat rate fee basis.

So, I'll work on either a pay per track basis ($30-$50 per track) or one time flat rate fee depending on budget.

Most of the people here aren't even paying for their own Internet let alone their own computer.  Mostly teens with 0 budget.  You might be barking up the wrong tree here.

Re: Composer Available | Custom Music

I compose my own music and I don't pay myself.  Since I've been helped here by so many, I will do the same for your film.
