1011Ev I see. Then yea, I agree with extending by a week. Still, there will most likely be some by the official date cause not everyone (like myself) would be making a christmas film.

Although, what I would probably do in Minecratf would be running around trying to figure out what to do. 
Getting laptop for Christmas. I'll try to enter this one on my friend's computer. Minecraft is my favorite game, so I shall definitely enter.

Extend the deadline, talk to Smeagol or Jargon and see what they would think about extending the deadline into early January. Everyone is focused on Christmas and THAC.
Just a heads up, I've never been involved with the Animation Challenge in any capacity
It's not that I don't care, it's just that I have nothing to do with the running of this contest, so it's not really my place to provide a deadline extension.

I see that it is indeed christmas time, so I'm going to extend this contest for quite some time, so the new deadline is two weeks from now (the 19th). The new deadline is the SECOND OF JANUARY 2013 Good luck, and spread the news!

Don't take it personally, everyone is just really busy right now with contests and such. Extending after Christmas and THAC is a good idea.
I actually started a test animation for this. It's about 20 seconds but I have a problem...my camera is now broken. After rough movers and a long move about a year ago my Logitech Vision Pro has had some cracking issues with the stand, and it just finally snapped, making it basically useless. I don't know if I'll be able to enter THAC now

I don't think I'll be able to finish it, and only test for it were filmed so it will make no sense. The set was pretty cool and I'm glad how that turned out...
I'll see and maybe upload the test animations after Christmas.

Just found out I'll be getting the Minecraft Micro World set (I was one of the 10, 000 supporters, so this is a surprise). I had a lot of animation done for this, so I may just have to animate in normal sized Lego.

I will make an effort to enter this one. I've given it a pass before, but I might be able to pull something together this time. I need to finish off my Christmas video though, so don't expect an entry until after Christmas.
