I'd like to have some featured channel exchanges. I'll put you as featured channel on my channel page in exchange you put my channel on yours.
The exchanges are permanent, I'll keep you up as long you keep my channel up.
Put me on your channel, post here or in pm and I'll do it right away back.
I agree. The new one is already giving me a headache.

The new one is way better than the old one, it's much cleaner. It just annoys me that I can't show "uploads only" anymore. I subscribed to people because I wanted to see their videos, not all the videos they've liked/commented on/favourited. Also it looks like the number of subscription items on the page is really limited, I can't scroll down very far before I can't load any more.
Hazzat has has already voiced my opinion.
Huh, the page updated again and now the "Uploads only" option is back and I can scroll down to forever again. Yay!
Now the only problem I have is that the default homepage features recommended videos. It's a good idea - a personal YouTube homepage sounds great - but I find the recommended videos feature to be just useless because for the most part it only recommends videos I've already watched...
Box for box?
Pretty much like sub4sub if you ask me...
not really sub for sub, since the new design came in i cannot see to who everyone is subbed.. and usually most visitors don't pay much attention to.
This is more like an promo for other channels, featured box is clearly visible on your page and when so one subs on your channel he gets the chance to sub to other channels that are featured on the page..
it's just a way to help each other to gain more viewers and subs.
I also pretty much agree with Hazzat. Something that I do hate a lot is that the page is centered the left, and thus looks weird one big monitors. Other than that it's a good update, and it looks very clean. I love the subscription box on the left,.
On another note, the YouTube App has been updated, and now you also have an Ipad one. I don't specifically know if the Mobile one had a redesign, however the tablet app is great. It loads fast, is nearly glitch free and has an amazing font. It's still sad that you can't reply to comments.
EDIT: Found this, might be handy:

Why does my youtube still look the same? I can't see these updates you guys are talking about.
NVM I can now see the changes. I'll get used to it eventually but I don't like now ![]()

My youtube has changed too, and I rather prefer the old layout. This new one seems to have a bit too many 'features'.
Just don't really like the fact that watching videos from a channel or from your favorites results in all of the videos from that list being shown on the right. Just kinda useless for me. Also I'm with Hazzat on the recommended videos thing. Nice to make it personnel, but why the videos I've already watched?

Still, I'll probably get used to it in a matter of weeks. Nothing that major.
On a side note, I'm still thinking up a new youtube name which is annoying, but when it's done it's done I guess. ![]()
I dunno about you guys, but the new home layout is WAY off balanced:

(sorry for large image)
At least the old one was centered in the middle of the screen.

You're on a Mac.
Why make Chrome fill the entire screen when it only needs half of it to display everything.
Yeah, sure, they did a sloppy job right there, but you're going out of your way to experience it (am I making sense?)
You can have the page only occupy half the screen on a PC too, just saying.
