It's "Future Shock"

- Filmed in California.

I'm sorry, but nope mini/no

Do you want another hint?

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Sure mini/smile

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Hint: It's also an action movie.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Ok, so what we have is this (i'm just gonna put it together for everyone):

- The actor in the frame played in a Clint Eastwood movie. The frame itself is not from a movie with Clint.

- The frame is from a sci-fi/action film.

- It's more recent than 1953 (was obvious anyway)

- Bill Paxton is somehow related.

My guess is it's either this:

1) Taking Tiger Mountain (released in 1983, ridiculous plot, features Bill Paxton)

2) Aliens (epic film, Directed by James Cameron, features Sigourney Weaver).

These are rather guesses.

Sorry Aiwha, but no...

Hint: It is a well-known movie.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

The Terminator
1984
Has Arnold Schwarzneggr
They made a 2nd one with a metal guy (never seen it)

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

LOL the answer was in front of me all along. I rejected it because I thought "no way he'd pick a movie that well known!" mini/lol it was a decent challenge my friend!

The Terminator (1984)

- O.J. Simpson was considered for the Terminator, but the producers feared he was "too nice" to be taken seriously as a cold-blooded killer.

- The initial draft for the movie was sold to James Cameron's wife, Gale Anne Hurd for the price of $1 only.

- Arnold Schwarzenegger's famous debut line 'I'll be back' was originally scripted as 'I'll come back'.

The guy in the frame is Joe Farago and he has played an Anchorman in both Terminator and The Rookie (a 1990 movie featuring Clint Eastwood and Charlie Sheen). Here's how he looks now, he got old.

Congratulations topitmunkeydog (And Larry, ahah)! mini/bigsmile

We're waiting for the next frame!

I'll be back!

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Larry you can have the frame because I totally cheated (as in I've never seen that film and just looked for popular scifi films on Bill Paxton's imdb) and also if I post something it will be totally random and nopony will get it mini/bigsmile
Unless you want the pleasure of playing another round. I honestly don't care mini/smile

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

You go ahead mini/wink it's not really cheating, because you guessed the movie and you were correct mini/bigsmile besides, I do want to play another round.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Sorry for the delay here. This one might be a little bit obscure.

Also sorry about the bad quality, because I took this as a screenshot from Youtube. (It is a film though, I just happened to find the right clip on Youtube.)

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
1999
Musical
Originally it was a play.

I'm really not sure as I've never seen the entire movie, just a tiny part of it one time.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

yep, that's it! Go ahead and post a frame! mini/bigsmile

PS: Don't watch the whole movie. It's like Rebecca Black wrote an entire musical. You don't want to see that.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Okay then! Here's the next frame:

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

No, neither of those are right.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

I'm pretty sure it is the reading room in the Library of Congress.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Perhaps a hint then? Because I've got no idea as of now and only Loic managed to at least give it a shot, everyone else is enjoying the silence of lambs lol.
