Topic: Looking for a Composer? I'm right here :)

This is Milo Drake from The Dyland Productions. I now have a great electric keyboard that has realistic sounds I have imported from online (Strings, horns, etc.) I will, at request, compose original music for your brickfilms. mini/smile

I only have two "rules" (If you can call them that... More like guidelines)

1.     I want to do this like how "official" composers do. (Meaning, getting contacted during pre-production, share some "music ideas" with the director, and composing over the "final cut") So, if your movie isn't finished and you want me to play a bunch of random songs for you to completely edit over later... My answer is no. However, I do not mean that you can't edit what I give you...

2.     I need to be credited. I will do this for 100000% free if you put "Music Composed by The Dyland Productions" at the credits, or in the description.

So, need help, I will compose. No promises, but I will try to give you the "final edit" over your film in between a week or a month after getting your film mini/smile (Again, that depends on length)

About the music, I like it, but the different layers seem just a wee bit off. Good job, though!

I agree Mighty Wanderer... This actually was just a test with a new mic, and, it WAS so good that I kept it... I will make sure to only use the best recordings in my actual soundtracks, and make sure the sound is better as well! mini/smile

I like how the instrumnets have cinematic sound, but still have enough synthetics to the timbre to let you know they're synths.  Good job!

I agree HoldingOurOwn, and I'm glad that you've decided to help compose with others as well. I have about 50 or 60 different horn sounds, however, for this movie, I wanted the music to sound just a tad "cheesy" like Nathan Well's BEAST did.

I must say, I love Baron von Barron's track. It's perfect. My only real concern overall is that the strings sound to synthetic, but maybe that's intentional?

Well, in post, I'd have to "fade in" and "fade out" the strings, as well as layer them over the same beat in recordings to make them sound real... I CAN do it, but for this test, I was just glad to hear Anything good! lol

hey mate...hate to ask since you already voice act for me so much but I lost the file with the ending song for my alpha team films. can you compose something secret agent-y and e-mail it to me?
