Topic: MonkeyJam or iStopMotion?

I'm buying a Logitech C920 and I have MonkeyJam and iStopMotion. Which program does it work better on?

Re: MonkeyJam or iStopMotion?

Well, the C920 isn't compatible with Mac, so I don't think it would really work with iStopMotion. I'm not totally sure, so this should probably be verified by someone who knows for sure.

Re: MonkeyJam or iStopMotion?

Actually I think the c920  works with iStopmotion just without manual settings which are pretty important for stop motion!

However it might work fully using this app carousel discovered (this works for the c910 although no one has tried it for the c920):

Also you should check out Helium Frog. It's free for Windows and personally I prefer it to monkey jam

I currently have the Logitech Quickcam Vision Pro

I have iStopmotion and just got the Webcam Settings app, and it really helped!  I think I eliminated all light flicker now!
I'm not sure about the c920 working w/ iStopmotion.

I've tried 3 different cameras/webcams in the past that Boinx said worked with it, and none did so I'm kind of weary of what they say works.

I'm not sure if this'll help you or not...

I this indeed true, and from first-hand experience (as I have the c920), I can confidently say that with Webcam Settings, webcams (especially the c920) work seamlessly, with full manual controls, on a Mac. Note: My frame-capture software is iStopmotion 3.

@LJ1138, so I gather that by saying "...I have MonkeyJam and iStopMotion...", you have both a Mac and a Windows machine. I recommend using the Mac. mini/wink
