Topic: Brickfilm files,Folders and computer organization

How do you organize your files of all your brickfilming frames,files,deleted scenes,sound effects,ect..
Post your description or screen shots on how your files are Organized.

I will post how I organize mine soon but feel free to post below

I store all my raw footage into separate folders (one for each test/shot). For each film, I put each shot into a separate folder, so I can edit it, and then put all these files into one big file for the overall film. I also categorize my sound FX by the type they are (lightsabers, lasers, footsteps, etc.).
Basically, I have a ton of files, which makes it hard to describe. I may post a picture, if I get time and motivation. mini/wink

mini/lol I usually put them in one folder but in different folders within the folder. (folderception)

Let me explain what NOT to do (what I do):
>Take pictures with no frame-capture program
>when importing the footage, let the camera organize the pics however it feels like, and then spend a while the next day trying to find where those gawshdarn images saved
>import footage into frame capture program
>export video as a whole bunch of vaguely named files in completely random folders (ex: "uhecf" or "RIBSAREDELICIOUS_12"
>forget where you saved the video when you try to import it to imovie
>save the final product in the wrong folder

As I said before, don't do this.

Actually, it’s neither. The word LEGO was meant to be an adjective, not a noun. (LEGO bricks, LEGO toys)

ON TOPIC:

My main folder has the folders, "Videos" Where I put my finished videos and tests. "Video Folders" Where I put all the pictures and clips from my films. "WIPs" Where I put all the files of current projects I'm working on. (EX. Lines from voice-actors for a current project)  "Scripts" Where I put scripts and ideas for films. "Pictures" Where I put various logos and set pictures. I also have a folder for sound, which has all my sounds categorized by house-hold sounds, gun sounds, vocal sounds, etc. etc.

.. And that's it. *Phew*

I'm kinda unorthodox when it comes to this sort of thing:
-I don't use a capture program, and animate whole scenes chronologically to avoid having to sort through images
-I don't export individual clips, instead I animate exactly how I would want the shots to look, then put it straight into my editing program (not advised, but works for me)
My filing system on my computer, however, is far more organized.
-When saving clips, I usually save them as the scene name, adding roman numerals if I have to split it (e.g. "Scene_Final" and "Scene_Final II")
-I have a separate HDD for brickfilms, which contains folders with the title of the film
-Inside each folder there are folders for: Scenes, Trailers, Posters, Music etc. with the final video file being saved into the main folder
