Topic: Disney acquires LucasFilms, Star Wars 7 to be made by 2015
Disney has acquired LucasFilms and affiliated companies like LucasArts, ILM, THX, and Skywalker Sound.
A 3rd trilogy, to take place after episode 6, is planned for episode 7 release in 2015, with a new movie released every 2 years thereafter.
Of particular concerns to some Star Wars fans, the future of The Clone Wars is still up in the air, however I would suspect season 5 will end, and if a season 6 is made, it will be Disney Channel.
Star Wars 1313 wont be affected by the takeover which will be a relief for Star Wars gamers.
There will no doubt be a lot more questions to come, some answered in the not too distant future.
