Topic: [Casting Call!] Voices Needed

Hello BiM Comunity,

So after 1 year of not animating, I've decided to get back into it, and I need some voice overs for my film. [Note: I will not post the subject of the film due to jerks saying "Herp derp done a million times herp derp"]

Voices:

Male, any age (at least hit puberty. srsleh.)
Voice: Dave... you were supposed to say yes...

Male, any age (preferably younger)
Voice: Are you jesus? :o

[This may scare some people. lul.]

Male, any age (deeper voice.)
Voice: So then I cut open his throat with a barbed wire. lolwuht

Male, any age (2-90y/o)
Voice: Hey Jeff, want to play some golf?

Male, any age (lol sexist)
Voice: Yeah, sure!

Male, any age (creepy grouchy(?) voice)
Voice: So... Much... FUUUUUUUUUUN                                   [He's talking about the golf. Seriously you wrong thinkers. :rolleyes: ]

Male, old man voice, but any age
Voice: Sonny, any spare wallies for an old chap?

That's all! A video with Jesus, crazy killers, old bums and golf. Problem?

There's not a lot to go on here, I doubt many people will want to audition without knowing the context.  Don't worry about others saying the subject has been done too many times, because it's your own film and you are entitled to make what you want (however, you should always welcome constructive criticism, as it will help you to refine and improve).
I'd suggest including a brief description of the plot/concept, and also show pictures of the characters, so people can get an idea of how your film will turn out.
Also, it's a good idea to highlight in bold the characters, and change the dialogue to italic, it will make it look a lot neater.

Here's what I mean by judgment. A casting call I made (I posted the main storyline) got no auditions because the entire OP consisted of "No you be dun diddly blah blah insultOne insultTwo rage rage [useless information goes here] you suck. - Sincerely [name]"
(That film wasn't finished.)

So I don't even post my storyline.

As for the neatness this was made during an all niter, so it's as neat as that. ¬.¬
Thank you for the tips though. I'll probably use them when im not being redundant.

OK, I don't know where you posted the other casting call, but trust me, 95% of the members here won't do that.
We try to help each other, and encourage each other to improve and excel. And by the way, Youtube is also a whole different animal compared to BiM. We care about each other, and are truthfully a great community.

But part of being in the community is being able to both give out, and to take in constructive critiquing. I hate to say it, but if you don't want people to review your films/projects, this isn't the right place for you to be.

I wish you the best of luck on your film, and I hope your thoughts about this community will change for the better.

Which casting call of yours are you referring to? I can't find any topic you posted that fits that description.

By the way, OP stands for "original poster", meaning the one who posted the thread. That means the OP of one of your topics would be you. But the way you're using it, it seems that you think it means "first reply" (second post).

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.
