Re: How Long Have You Been Animating?
I started in 2007, so it's been about five years now. It wasn't until 2010 though, that I actually came out with a decent film.

Almost exactly one year.
My very first animation was in 2007. I never uploaded it.
From there I kinda just did it now and then, but school work made it very limited for me.
Now, even with the work I'm getting, I'm trying to enter more contests on BiM, and I'm also working on scripts for future projects when I have more time. ![]()
Started brickfilming in late 2006. My first "film" was a very choppy, low quality film of my winter hat eating minifigures and a restaurant. I started making better looking films that were worth posting (although looking back, still not very good) in the summer of 2007 when I better understood how to create smoother animation with my camera.
Since I was in 6th grade (12 years old in 2009). So basically 3 years in August. However, I didn't make much besides tests until last year. I also took a year off brickfilming halfway through 7th grade.
About two years ago. My first film was a lego short about a minifigure running around a wall. To bad I don't feel like animating anymore...
I made my first animation in 2009 with Playmobil then created my first Brickfilm in 2010.
first was in 2006 when i was in second grade at a camp ![]()
2010 was my first actual video and have been animating since
and the reason i put just 2010 was because i was supposed to get on a flight

2010... what? Seconds, minutes, years? Have you been animating since 2010? Please put a bit more effort into your posts, friend.
Daaaaaannnggg, It's been over 3 years already? Yeah, I started around April/March of '09.
Since 2009 ![]()
Probably started around.. umm early 2010. Wow, been THAT long?
1 3/4 years now

Bump
2008: Discovered brickfilms on yt
2009: Made a few test animations without sound
2010: Made my first proper brickfilm
2011: Improved gradually but still sucked and joined BiM
2012: Uploded my first film to BiM
october: On hiatus
You know what MrGhost? I think I was on pretty much the same schedule as you up until October. I remember how bad my old videos were...6 frames a second and I held the camera then moved the LEGO
I am pondering whether or not to upload a old LEGO Indiana Jones movie I did...it was like 5 min and only made sense if you saw Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Anyways, what does anyone who reads this think? (also, should I upload most of my old videos to YT? Will people see those and then not watch my newer, WAY better ones because my old ones stunk?)
Sometime in 2006 I made my first film, thanks to the "digital blue" software I started with. It made it really easy and simple to work with, but it wasn't until 2008 that I upgraded to the Q9k and actually started making decent material.
Also funny to think that until i got my Youtube going in '08, I uploaded my videos to Google Video. GOOGLE VIDEO.
It's okay, we've all made mistakes. Some of us, more than others, apparently.... but hey, that was years ago. You've learned. You have done well.
