Re: YouTube
Seems us non-network-partnered people can now change our thumbnails! ![]()
I made one for my trailer of HHB.

I checked, and I don't seem to have that feature. Where exactly did you go to change your thumbnail?

That's good for people like most of us brickfilmers, but it could turn into everyone on YouTube using misleading thumbnails in order to get views.
I still can't find the feature. Is it just for certain people?

Okay, I just tried it as well, and I did what you said, Loïc F-B, and I can't seem to find it either. I believe it still might be for partners or only people with monetization enabled.

You can flag something for having a misleading thumbnail. Assuming the youtube dudes are good about getting rid of spam, then it's alright ![]()
Telling your friends that Youtube pays you as a Partner, When really you just clicked "Monetize"

Along with the moving of the Feed tab under Browse Videos, YT has also added a "Likes" section under Browse Videos. Very nice.
Passed the 2300 subscribers mark today! I'm really glad! 3000 seems so far away though ![]()
I'm worried about my YouTube getting so decrepit and old that none of my subscribers will ever visit. I'm not posting anything because of this huge project I'm working on but dare not announce it because everyone hates those announcement videos I do.
So I guess I've got a bit of a Predicament. ![]()

One question , Is there any point of being a youtube partner?
Mula for spending on equipment for MORE brickfilms.

If only this were the real case. Being a YouTube partner doesn't really make very much money for you unless you have a pretty big audience. I have around 730 subscribers and 40,000 total video views (most of my public videos are over 1K views each), and I still haven't gotten close to getting a check from Google. The best thing about the Partner Program for people like me (and I'm assuming you and a lot of people on here) is simply the extra features. Even that isn't much, but it's nice.

True. And I did just get the thumbnail feature. I haven't used it as much as I expected though.

same here.. post tests, animation test....
Thanks for the idea, but I have no tests. And I'm not doing much animation, but nobody here wants to give my Machinima the time of day.
