Topic: Panasonic PV-GS19

Sorry I'm posting so much, but I found this new camera, called the Panasonic PV-GS19. I think it's very good for stop motion. It has manual iris, 1\60 shutter speed, custom white balance, and I think it has manual focus.(Not sure.)

Here's the link: http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/PV … pport#tabs

Tell me what you guys think about it. If it's not good, any other affordable cameras? My current camera doesn't have manual exposure, so that's why.

Re: Panasonic PV-GS19

I'm not sure, but those specs say that the cam only takes 640x480 still images, which is only VGA. Not sure about the rest of the specs, or you're budget. Personally I would recommend a webcam (c910 or c920), unless you have a mac...in that case, you might want to check out the canon powershot series of cameras...I don't know if they're compatible with macs though mini/blankexpression
Hope this helps. mini/smile

Yeah, thanks! I'll look into that! Do you use a webcam?

Re: Panasonic PV-GS19

Yeah I do...the Logitech c920. It's great for close-ups, has full manual controls, shoots 1080p vid, has a 3mp sensor, and is great for brickfilming overall.
Glad I could help. mini/smile
