I remember liking the theme song to Eureeka's Castle. That one really stuck in my head along with the one from Zoobilee Zoo. I watched both shows as a kid and can still hum the theme 20 years later. Some people can make pretty memorable songs.
Scooby-Doo has been mentioned but I like that one as well.

Oh yes. It really set the tone for every episode. Creepy and extratorrestial.
Star Trek: TOS theme.
I don't watch allot of TV programmes, however there are some exceptions.
Friends: I'm glad this show was apart of my childhood.
Frozen Planet: Such a simplistic opening, but yet so brilliant.
For some reason, the Parks and Recreation theme tune was really catchy.

So, if you want to watch it; here you go.

Well, to each his own.
I just checked the guide, and episodes 2-9 are on Friday, back-to-back. If your TV has the ability to record shows, I would suggest that you record all of those, then watch them in order after you see the first episode. It's not completly neccesary to watch them in order, but it's a good idea to because some of the episodes refer to previous ones. But the first episode should be seen first; it includes exposition for the series as a whole (unlike many series, the exposition is needed to understand some stuff).
