I am going to like, tip the scales, and vote for liquid. Because that's a fairly common thing in films and we all suck pretty bad at it. I may enter unless I am too tired. I recommend using saran wrap.

It's supposed to be liquid only using LEGO pieces.

Actually, if I went with that, I'd accept stuff like saran wrap and clay. What would really matter is how successful the illusion of making a solid appear to be a liquid is.
