Topic: Batman:The beginning of legend

Hello everyone, I would like to ask you any advice for me on my next stop motion, his name is Batman the beginning of the legend, the animation is not very good, so I would ask you if you have any advice for me ...

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

Sounds like any ordinary Batman film.

Okay, to start, there is a Sticky thread to post story ideas. Also, I'm not sure what advice you're looking for. You need to be more particular.

Second, there is nothing here really, just two lines of text that don't even really tell any idea of what you're creating. There are no characters (except Batman) that have been shown, no plot-line, no nothing.

Also, telling us that the animation is not good wouldn't help us give you advice to improve. You need to show us your animation so we can visually see what improvements you need to make.

Finally, I wouldn't suggest making a Batman film. There are way to many Batman films. Think of something fresh, a new idea. Not something that's been used a million times.

There we go again. Nothing is wrong with batman films The fact that there are a lot of them says absolutely nothing to the subject. There are a lot of Star Wars films, nothing is wrong with those. The unoriginality does not lie in the subject of the Batman (Look at I Am the Night). Rather, bad and overused jokes make them tiresome to watch. As long as you can make a Batman film (Comedy OR Drama) and do it well, it will be fine. Although, Skylight's, I can't guarantee many will watch it, due to the fact that the vast majority of this community is prejudiced against Batman films to begin with.

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

There may not be anything inherently wrong with them, but there are so. many. of them out there. If you want to have any chance of making an impression or standing out amongst the crowded plane, you'll have to do something excellent or offer a unique take on the subject. Otherwise, it's just going to end up as more noise.

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

Skylight, you are making a stop-motion film with LEGO. The sky is the limit. Don't listen to anyone else on what you should or should not film; if you want to make a Batman film, go for it. If you want to make an epic original sci-fi film, go for it.

If you want any help with animation, feel free to post what you've filmed here or PM me about it.

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

The film talks about the origins of Batman, who witnesses the death of his father (his mother died of a heart attack and before), just 5 years unscathed. In my film, Bruce Wayne every time he witnesses a tragedy sees a bat, for this phobia of bats. Determined to kill the thief, is anticipated by the henchmen of Carmine Falcone, Bruce Wayne escapes, but returns to gotham after 7 years, starting an innovation in the industry helped the doctor victor cris Wayne (alias dr.Freeze) ... what attracts 'SHIELD's attention, that some problems with Poison Evy ...
(this is the plot (in part ...), you should know that will be an action movie and I think I shoot it in 3D ... However, dear LASF I chose to do a Batman movie, just to make something original, since I wrote the script, I knew that there were hundreds of stopmotion Batman ...
(cinexcellence thanks for your help ...)

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

SHIELD??????

That's Marvel, not DC. mini/lol
I'm sure that DC has an equivalent somewhere, but even if not, you still need to change that.
Your grammar could also use some improving, because it's kinda hard to decipher what you said there.
I now know the basic plot, but it took a few minutes to figure it out.

The "See a bat at every tragedy" is a cool idea. But the "Go after daddy's killer and try to kill him, then get mixed up with Falcone and then leave Gotham for a few years" angle had been done before. (Batman Begins)

I like the innovation angle with Freeze, but what do you mean by "Industry"? The refrigerator manufacturing industry perhaps?  (Forget GE, buy a Wayne-tech icebox today! Complete with super-freezing features and a really cool jet-black design! Available at your local Wayne-mart. mini/tongue )

You could then have Lexcorp be a competitor and take the “Big secretive and powerful organization” role that SHIELD would have had. (Except it’ll be evil of course.) They could then try to find out Freeze’s secret and accidentally create Poison Ivy who promptly escapes and must be taken down by Bats. Oh wait, you've already wrote the script. Sorry. mini/eh

One BIG hole I see in your plot is this, why would Bruce become Batman? Yes, his dad was killed, but you didn’t say if he received any training while he was away. And you never even mentioned when he becomes Batman. That would be a plot hole the size of Texas unless you simply haven’t told us when or why. (Which could be possible.)

Anyway, I have nothing against good Batman films. So I'm looking forward to seeing what you will do with it.
One thing though, if you want it to stand out among the multitude of others, it'll need good animation. Bad animating can ruin an otherwise great film. Even if you have to delay it for a while to get your skills up to the needed level, you need to make sure that quality is good before ever releasing it.

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

Pritchard dear, you're right in that the SHIELD is no marvel and dc comics, but both have repeatedly met with their superheroes with others.
As Freeze has, you know that Bruce Wayne asked for a loan to his scientific studies, a freeze ray ... but Bruce Wayne, as the SHIELD saw the radius as a chance to make a weapon (although I must admit that the idea of the company refrigerator is not bad mini/wink ), however, poison ivy had been created before in history, in fact, she goes back to 1947, following an accident lab .............

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

IDK, it seems a little "big". Try giving us some production pics or animation tests and we'll see how you're doing.

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

(sorry does anyone know how to put pictures?)

I solved the problem now talk about the animated film

software:
Cinema 4d, LeoCAD, MLCad

gimp 2.8, photoshop cs4
3dcombine (for brickfilm in 3d)

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

Aw, but I wanted to see Batman working with SHIELD in 3D and fight Wolverine and save New York from Aliens and Predator 2 and stop McFly from kissing his grandson after time traveling to the year 2100.

^ How about we not make fun of our fellow brickfilmers, especially those that are new to brickfilmers and the 'community'?

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

Then stop complaining about what I do and do your thing.

Besides, I was looking forward to this ridiculous crossover.

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

I don't understand why you're being so rude, Lech. If you disagree with something that I said, talk about it. Don't resort to personal attacks on my character.

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

Come on guys, nearly a third of this thread has been nothing but you two arguing. mini/blankexpression
Lech, if you can't be nice, don't say anything at all.
Cinexcellence, if he won't be nice, just ignore him, and DON'T reply to him.

If you two want to continue this, do so with PM's, and quit messing up this poor guy's thread.
And could a responsible mod please come a clean this up? Thanks.

While I was somewhat critical of the Shield/Batman cross-over, I was still looking forward to the film and was disappointed when I heard of it's being cancelled. There were some really cool ideas and plot lines that I was really looking forward to seeing. So Skylight, with this now cancelled, what's your next project going to be? And may I ask how having no funds stopped this? With brickfilming, once you get the camera, software, and Lego, you never have to spend money. So was it not being able to buy the specific minifigures, or was there some other, none avoidable expense? FX programs aren't needed to make a good film, and stuff like Photoshop have free equivalents.

Re: Batman:The beginning of legend

I'm working on a new brickfilm, is taken from the Marvel comic, who spoke of the secret war between SHIELD and
Latveria (the state of Dr.Doom), as the stopmotion batman, I'm so sorry to me  and I hope to do it again soon ... (also to make the batman brickfilm I should make a GIGANTIC cgi work, I
