Re: YouTube

I know this may not be a big deal to you guys but it is to me. EmmaExecute subscribed to me and this is a big deal to me because she inspired me to seriously get into animating! So when I saw this I became very exited.

Congrats!

Re: YouTube

I think I am gonna make a new channel but what should I name it?

CosmicCubeStudios (It seems to long to me though)
CCSBrickfilms
CosmicBrickfilms
Other

I was gonna go for CCSFilms but, of course, it was taken.

Edit: Actually, I might not. There two reasons I did wanna change my channel was (1) I think my channel is really dropping noticeability and (2) the name LegoAndStickfigs isn't very professional.

Also, you can now use your G+ name as your YT channel name.

You're telling me that I can change my current YouTube name?

Re: YouTube

Looks like I can finally do Scheduled Uploading. I was wondering when I would have access to that. I think it should be of some use, especially on the days I work. Has anyone else been getting features slowly released to them? (partner features I mean)

Re: YouTube

I got partnered so I got em all at once! Do you think non-partners will get all the features? Because if so, there is not really a reason to get partnered

You were most likely an Old Partner. There are now two types of Partners. The first type are the ones that became Partners before April and were given full access to the program. The second type came about when YouTube completely changed how the program worked. As long as a user has at least one video monetized, they are now considered a Partner. However, they do not have the same benefits as the older partners (say the channel banner, custom thumbnails, better revenue). However, YouTube is slowly rolling out some of the Partner Features to the newer members. It is much better to be an Old Partner because you have complete access to all of the features. YouTube really hasn't said much about whether or not they will be eventually releasing all of the features to the new partners. As of right now I am a new partner and have the following features: Channel Store, Scheduled Publishing, and Default Metadata.

Yes. I was prompted by YT to change my channel name to my G+ name, but I declined. Once all the contests are over, I'll go change my G+ name to MightyWanderer, then I'll have the channel name I've always wanted. mini/tongue

Re: YouTube

I... don't know. But I'm looking into it.

Edit: Found it! Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Begin using my full name on YouTube. That will switch your channel name to your G+ name.

Thanks, and you can still get the "old partnership" if you get partnered by a network
