I think this thread should be in the Bricks subforum...
Anyway the best place for cheap LEGO is Bricklink.com. However sometimes on Ebay (or other auction sites) you can find some great deals on lego parts and minifigs.
For example I recently bought 40 white 2x4 lego bricks off ebay for just £3.00 which is about 3.8 euros
