Topic: Need someone to do effect for a news report in I Am The Night

For I Am The Night, I have a news report where a reporter gives an update on King Tut's escape from Arkham and an update on the police and Batman trying to capture him.
I've already filmed the news report, but I'm wanting to have something overlay onto the animation with the news station's logo, a little thing that says live, the name of the reporter, and the story. The kind of thing that's usually on the screen whenever you watch news.

I'm not sure I'd be able to make a good one myself, so I thought I'd see if anyone good with photo shop and graphics would be interested in volunteering in making the overlay. I'd credit them in the film for their assistance, of course.

He is a frame from from the shot, it needs to be made to fit this:

Also, I'd prefer the logo to look like the TV logo from this set:

As stuff from that set appear in other parts of the film, and I'd rather it all be the same news station.

Are you talking about just a picture to overlay, or moving stuff like the scrolling news at the bottom of most stations? If it is just still visuals, I might be able to do it. mini/smile

Just about everything BUT the scrolling text.
I've opted not to have that, since it's not always present, and adding it would be a lot harder for certain complex reasons.
So just a still.
If anyone would like to give it a whack, just try editing it and I'll see what I think of it. mini/smile

That's reasonably nice. A bit too grey and blocky, though. Also, I really don't think that Arkham would have it's own news network.

At the moment, I'm trying to get AE CS4 installed on my PC. The problem is while I have the key and the installer, but the installer needs files I can't find on my old computer.

Once you have a picture on the internet, right click on it and select the option "view image" you will then be on a page which will probably end in .JPG or what ever type file it is, and the only thing you will see is the image. Copy the URL and put it into the image thingies.
It should look like this:

You need to upload the picture to a photo-sharing website, (Flickr, Photobucket, Brickshelf, Ect...)
and then do what ANP said. If the file is still on your computer, there is no way for us to see it. mini/wink

I obviously have no authority in this thread because I am not ANP but I have a suggestion for Legocloniac477.
The font you are using is not very easy to read. I would think it would look good for the text that says "News Alert" and the one above the logo that says "live", and possibly the name Stephen Moffet, but I think the rest of the text should be in a font like Arial or Helvetica.

Or Comic Sans. (I am kidding about that)

Other than that it looks quite believable.
