Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

Nice, we've needed this here. Although you've written two ands in the last suggestion under "What to do" and then I think it should be "this contest" not "his contest" under "The judges."

Hope I'm not being annoying. mini/tongue

Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

Thanks for posting this I thought the forum needed something like this. Also I think it would be good to mention where to post your contest topic (in general film discussion and if it's good a mod moves it) just to clarify it to people mini/smile

@Tobias Keen eye you've got there, and you're certainly not annoying! I always like it when this can be improved, so it'll be more helpful mini/smile . I corrected the post.

@Legomoviemaker1 Thank you! Glad I could assist you mini/smile ! I also changed the post to your liking.

@Everyone Else See any more spelling mistakes or grammatically incorrect sentences? Be sure to tell me!

This really helped me understand how to make my contest better. Do you mind if I steal your prizes idea?! mini/tongue

Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

I have a contest in the making actually, I just need to figure out prizes (no, they are definitely NOT going to be subscribers mini/lol). I used this thread as my checklist.

Anyway, a bit off topic, I dunno when I'll release the contest yet.

Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

@Co0lwill Of course not, that's what this is for!

Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

I've been mulling over your request for stickyage and I don't think it's without merit. I see it more as an article for the resources section, but at the same time we don't really have an appropriate niche for it yet. I'll keep you posted.

Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

Sure, take your time. I didn't post this to the resources because less BiM newbies look at that. This will give it more attention and thus help more people mini/smile .

Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

One thing I think you should add is, when making a contest, don't put a rule like "You must be subscribed to enter." I hate those types of contests.

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Exactly. Every single contest that has "yo dudez you gotta be subscribed to me" is complete BS.

Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

@LarryStudios I also hate that crap and especially it's a bad way to make subscribers for a contest

Re: A Brickfilmer's Guide to Making a Successful Contest

Sorry for not responding guys, I had some personal business.

@Mickey Added it! Thanks for your contribution mini/smile .

@Jargon Have you decided yet?
