Here's some stuff I made!

This is about six months of learning put into a picture made using Blender
Sorry if there is another thread for this, it seems to fit.

I guess you would put this in the CGI Thread, but I'll comment on it anyway. You can tell it's CGI, but that's way better than anything I could do
. You might want to work on the shape of the chess pieces though. The knight doesn't look like it would be able to balance and the pawns look weird
.
I tried to draw RD, I'm mildly pleased with it, but not very much:
I ordered a graphics tablet for $100, I'm waiting patiently excitedly for it to arrive. If you are wondering, it's a Genius G-Pen M609X. ![]()

Actually, since CGI is an art form, and this is the Drawings and Other Art thread, he can post it here if he wants to.
I'm trying to scrape some monies together in the slight hope of being able to make it to Everfree Northwest, so I opened commissions. First one, designing and illustrating an OC for someone!

yeeea I'm trying to improve on that

the knights were particularly hard to model I'll try re-doing them.
as for the pawns... could you say how they look weird?
at first I put a ball on top because I couldn't find my chess set.
but then I remembered that the bishop had that, not the pawn.
^^ The average day in my life
^^
thanks for the critiques, they help a lot! ![]()
@Coyote Looks good! I think the chess pieces are just a bit to reflective. Did you model everything yourself?
just to show how nerdy I am I'll say that the chess pieces are not reflective at all!
I know what you mean though. I'll try turning down the specular.
and yes I did model everything by my self. ![]()
So far I'm doing great! I keep thinking someone will comment about his hair
.
I'd critique other peoples doodles but this post is far to long already!
I actually kinda like yours though Keesret ![]()

Out of curiosity- how much are you asking for something like that, Sean?
Just a sketch like that? Not a lot really. Probably $10 for a character in standing pose done up neatly in the show's style. Perhaps $15 or so for shading. "Action" poses would cost more depending on the complexity of them.
Something I plan on making for a short project. I hastily made it in MS Paint, so of course, it's quite unprofessional.

Here's something new.
I modeled everything but the mask and the wand.
For those I used LeoCAD.
I also used the shirt decal from LeoCAD.
Also; Everyone, Great drawings!
But I have to say that I'm disappointed that they are all of ponies.
I'd like to see something original. ![]()

Like a CGI LEGO mini-figure, right?
