Okay, if I were serious, I'd have to say epic action music. My mind always imagines awesome visual adventure stuff for music, and I have this great urge to make something for it.

I don't know if it was my dad or something, but I am extremely addicted to 70s and 80s music. All those one-hit wonders and stuff. My favorite song would probably be tied between Lovely Day by Bill Withers or Take on Me by A-Ha (mostly because it has an awesome music video). That stuff always gets me in a good mood.

Though, it doesn't really inspire me to brickfilm...

Also, I like pop songs, and up-tempo Afro-fusion pop ballads.
I like music that has a story behind the words that I can picture, so songs with clear lyrics, at the moment a song I listen to for motivation is "We Are Young" by FUN, but usually listening to music composed by John Williams, or the Rocky theme inspires me enough to get going 
I usually listen to various movie scores, mostly from Hans Zimmer.
I also like cinematic/action compositions, from composers like Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, John Williams,Michael Giacchino and David Bergeaud.
I do love John Williams' work.

Yeah! I grew up on Dr. Demento. I also love 80s and synth-pop and new wave/punk from the era. In fact, I just scripted the second episode of my Lego cartoon and one of the characters becomes an 80s DJ.

Those are some of the bands that I listen to in a nutshell, announced in no particular order

No problem, I didn't expect anyone to like the bands that I listen to.
