Topic: Washing lego baseplates?
My lego baseplates are REALLY REALLY REALLY dusty.
Should I wash them? Paintbrushes didn't seem to help.
Do any of you have experience with this?

I'm wondering the same thing... ![]()
How do I dry them most effectivesomethingly?
I would place them upside down on a towel and leave them for an hour.
I'd recommend using a blow dryer to dry it, then leave it on a towel for maybe an hour to dry? ![]()
Dust, you say?
Rinising, drying with a towel, then letting it dry worked for me.
I dust them using a paintbrush.
If it were a minifigure you were going to wash, then you would be heading down the wrong road as the minifigure starts to crack with water resistance still on it. Although since its a baseplate go ahead and wash it, I've done it a ton of times.
I had some gunk left on one and I scrubbed it with a wet toothbrush. You can get a pack of eight at the dollar store for a buck. Toothbrushes and butter knives are versatile tools to have around. When I dried it with a dish towel it left fuzz all over the surface. So I put them face down on a paper towel in a warm area to dry.
