Ever since completing my live-action, anti-war short film One Man's Terrorist ( A thread for which can be found here) several months ago I've been working on developing my next big project: a modern-day western about The War on drugs called The Smoking Gun.

This is a much more ambitious film than my last project. The Smoking Gun is a feature film about several Eastern Oregon ranch hands who inadvertently get caught up in a drug smuggling operation. It's a story I've been developing for over two years.

Right now we're just trying to raise a couple thousand dollars to help us create a trailer, but if we can do that successfully we've already got a couple leads that could help us secure a pretty substantial budget. The goal is to secure a budget upwards of $100,000 and try to get the film at least a limited theatrical release.
