Even without seeing the Avengers, I know it's

Spoiler (click to read)

Thanos. Another reason it's who it is, is because the Infinity Gauntlet was seen in Thor, and that happens to belong to Thanos.
(I've not watched the movies, but I'm kinda a super-hero nut. mini/tongue )

Doom and all the FF stuff is still held by Fox, and so Marvel can't use them in the movies yet. That's the reason that the aliens weren't Skrulls in the Avengers. It's also why Spidey can't be in any of the Marvel movies, as his stuff is owned by Sony.

Oh, and by "stuff", I mean the rights to use in a movie, just thought I should specify. mini/tongue

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Technically Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four could make appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it would just require some complicated legal wrangling between studios. It'd be really, really smart of them to do so, though.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Supposedly neither of the companies would sell the rights to use Spider-Man or the Fantastic Four for The Avengers, but who knows, it's possible that they have for a possible sequel. It really would be a good idea, though.

I was just taking a wild guess that it was Dr. Doom, it just looked like him from what was shown after the credits (only the bottom half of his face was shown).

Dr. Horrible's Sing a Long Blog

Men In Black 3
Saw it opening day. It was pretty good IMO though my friends just thought it was meh.

I've heard mixed reviews, I heard that it was good from reviewers, but that it was pretty bad from others like one of my friend's mom. Then again, she loved Cars. Maybe I shouldn't take movie advice from her. mini/tongue

I also heard that it beat out The Avengers' top spot at the box office. But, hey, that's just my opinion.

Dr Doom's face is covered by some kind of metal, and judging by the half bottom of the face, EDIT: yes, it's Thanos, my bad. I'm terribly sorry for my ignorance.

Btw:
The Sound Of Music
It had exactly what I was looking for: happy songs and happy feelings, another movie that made me feel good after watching it. The same day I watched it I already knew the lyrics of "My Favourite Things", a little bit of some of the other songs. I really loved it, although there were few moments that looked a bit forced (that are moments when people start singing), but they were really few, like three times in  all the movie. All the other songs didn't look unnatural. Overall a great movie everyone should see at least once.

? No, it's definitely

Thanos.

No.

Okay, that settles it. Moral of the story: I'm an idiot.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Sharktopus

Yes, this is a Syfy original movie, yes it's a Syfy "Sea beast" movie no less, but this is one of the few that are Awesome! Corny awesomeness! Like for example, two guy are talking about way's they wouldn't want to die right before they die. (Yes, it's not original at all, if you want original shark attack movies watch "Jaws" or "Deep blue sea", if you want a good laugh, watch this.)

Kung Pow! Enter the Fists
Wow, this movie was quite funny. There were some bits that seemed very stupid and unnecessary.
It provided a lot of laughs for my father and I. Yes this movie is PG-13 for swearing and some violence, plus the sensuality they had to add. mini/rolleyes   The funny thing is that they took shots from actual movies and keyed the guy in and dubbed all the characters as horrible as possible. mini/lol  I give this 3.8/5

Kindergarten Cop (1990)

Ivan Reitman may be my new favorite filmmaker. Of course, it had very cliched moments, though I didn't see the part where

coming. Overall, it was okay.

I really liked this film, the rats were very well done...I should know because I have a rat myself. mini/smile
The idea was weird, but good. Overall. 8/10.

The Princess Bride (1987)
Seemed like a chick-flick, but with just enough action and adventure to avoid being part of that genre. The whole movie was funny at times, but cheesy the entire time. Some of the dialogue was hilarious, but it was dampened by the constant references to "True love" and the 80's style special effects. Can't say I'd love to watch it again, but can't say I'd entirely hate it either. Of course, watching it at one in the morning might have something to do with my slightly negative opinion of it. mini/shifty

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Overuse of bad CGI, weird psychotic tones, and little sleep the night before, (See above) all came together to make me dislike this movie.....Quite a bit. I'm not sure how it was written originally, but this seems like the type of movie that would be a nice, cheery movie about an eccentric chocolate maker (Not insane) and the bad consequences of not obeying the rules. But instead it had Willy grinning and laughing at the evil kids plight, and not trying at all to keep them from their doom with the exception of a sentence or two of warning. The way Depp portrays Willy Wonka is freaky enough for you to wonder if he is really supposed to be a good guy. I can deal with good guys with flaws, but they're clearly shown to be on the right side. Willy wasn't shown as evil enough, or good enough to really be put in either category, as so earned my dislike early on.  Because of that, I'd rank him as even creepier than the Joker. (Granted, I've only seen a few clips of the Ledger version of The Joker, but he's shown to be evil, and kept that way.)
I won't be watching this one again, and I probably won't be taking that friend's movie suggestions any time soon either.
