Topic: Any known cheap/ish or free video intro (Mac) software?

Hi, many people on youtube have animated intros to their videos, and I've been wondering how to do such a thing for a while. I would like to know any not-so-pricey or free software for Mac, so I could make animated logos etc.

Can you give an example of what you mean by an intro? Do you mean titles or something else?

He probably means their studio logo that they put at the beginning.

Sorry for not being clear enough! I meant animating a logo, so that it moves, but I was also talking about text too. I realise that I can do text in Motion 5 and Final Cut Express. Ultimately, what software would allow you to animate a zoetrope or carousel like object, so the horses (or whatever is on it) look as if they're moving?

Am I correct in assuming that you have an image of a carousel that you would like to animate? You can do a LOT with Motion 5. You can create separate elements from the image and keyframe their animation. If you Motion project is 3D, you can add a Camera and change the perspective.

Yes, I would like to animate a carousel! Thanks for the very useful info Cinexcellence, I'll further research it.:)
