Topic: Lightworks - would it run well?

My question - would Lightworks run well on my computer?

AMD Athlon II X2 220 Processor, ~2.8GHz
3 GB RAM
1TB Hard Drive
NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 graphics card

If there is any more info you need just let me know.

Thanks!

Re: Lightworks - would it run well?

I think lightworks should run on that.

The main issue I had was, it is impossible to use.
The interface is in no way intuitive, and it takes forever to load anything.

Re: Lightworks - would it run well?

Oh. What do you mean by the interface not being intuitive?

Re: Lightworks - would it run well?

I had a look at light works and personally I found the interface very overwhelming - the best description of what it was like is: mini/eek

While i'm sure if I tried I could get used to it and learn how to use the program but honestly I couldn't be bothered!

But then it is free so try it yourself and well you can always uninstall it later mini/smile

I think I will. mini/smile Thanks.

Re: Lightworks - would it run well?

Okay, so I downloaded it and all that it needed, and it came up with this:

The Lightworks application failed to initialize with the following message:

Failed to initialize Direct3D
LwCheck: .\LwD3D.cpp(425) FAILED with code 0x8876086a

What do I do?
