Hmm... It sort of looks familiar to shots in Mysterious Island from 1961.. Though this looks a lot more modern but then the guy in the background makes me think of the baddy in Journey To The Centre Of The Earth (I've only seen the one from the 50s). I'm not going to guess yet but I think this frame is from a film based on a Jules Verne book.

Brrr.... where is my coat. I just got cold in here. mini/smile
(Guess you all can take that as a hint? O well...)

This scene looks so familiar...like from a overhyped and disappointing movie...

I'm thinking...

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Jake Gyllenhaal
Essentially nothing happened
Gemma Arterton

or

Clash of the Titans
Sam Worthington
Ugly-@$$ Kraken
Gemma Arterton

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
Part 2 of the incredibly popular Lord of the Rings trilogy by Peter Jackson.
Won the category for Best Sound Editing at the 75th Academy Awards telecast.
It's like three hours long.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Battlefield Earth
• Adapted from a book by L. Ron Hubbard.
• Was supposed to have a sequel.
• Almost everyone agrees this is one of the worst films ever made.

Also, I'm probably wrong because the shot isn't tilted. But I could be right.

Wow, I didn't think that frame would be that hard... do people want a hint?

@Mickey and Littlebrick
Nope, neither of those are what it is.

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

This may be a really big hint, but my frame has stood for awhile so here goes...

Two of the best known actors in this movie's genre star together for the first time in this film.

That should help. mini/bigsmile

Re: Guess the Film! (Game)

Is it Darth Vader 'n' Captain Kirk: Campin' on Mars?
