Topic: Audacity Help
I need to know how to be able to hear one recording while recording. Could somebody please help me?

I need to know how to be able to hear one recording while recording. Could somebody please help me?
1. Import the first recording into Audacity.
2. Return to the start of the timeline.
3. Click the record button. (Be sure you have headphones or earbuds in, otherwise the mic will pick up the first recording from the speakers.)And that's it.
Well the other recording wont play. Its only silence
Make sure the other recording isn't on mute, and try playing just that recording without earbuds, to make sure it's playing. If it does, which it should, then it's a problem with your earbuds. If it doesn't, then there must be something selected, like mute.
